Personalized Baby Shower Favors with a Natural Touch are meaningful guest gifts.
Last weekend my new niece in law had a baby shower. Her cousin was in charge and they , my neice ( Wesley) in law’s family orchastrated a fun, fall themed shower with leaves in oranges, rusts , browns for a total “rustic” feel.
It was a wonderful afternoon at a log cabin in a state park. When I received the invitation I asked if they had decided on favors at all, because we could contribute some baby shower seed favors. Christine was thrilled to include them and I was thinking what would be the best favor design for fall.
This is what I decided on: The Nature’s Petals Seed Favors
Because
1. – they are assembled
2. They had fall colors on the packet that would complement the fall “rustic” them with gold, blue and greens on a periwinkle background, neutral enough to fit onto a the color palette
3. We could pair them with love-in-a-mist seed; perfect for baby showers and grows all year round , inside in pot or outside if it is warm enough
4. Lots of room to put a poem on the back
5. We decided to add a ribbon to dress the favors up and to re-inforce the “greeness” and eco friendly nature
6. It was a cabin shower, back to nature so a bit of nature never hurts and they will remember Wesley’s Baby Shower year after year when the flowers bloom
7. They were a huge hit , I hope to follow up with some flower pictures at some time.
These wonderful, unique seed favors adorned with the mother-to-be’s name and shower date are as special guest gifts that will last for years to come. Give an original seed keepsake for “growing memories” of your little one.
Includes the Poem,” Soon to be a special time of lullabies and nursery rhymes.”.
They can be mailed with the thank you notes as well for out of town guests. A small gift of ” green” sends your message of gratitude to friends and family that will grow as your baby grows year after year.
Here are some samples of baby shower seed favors: Add ribbon for special decorative touch .
These eco friendly guest gifts are totally custom and can also be mailed with birth announcements .

Marry when the year is new
Always loving, kind and true.
When February birds do mate
You may wed, nor dread your fate.
If you wed when March winds blow,
Joy and sorrow both you’ll know.
Marry in April when you can,
Joy for maiden and for man.
Marry in the month of May
You will surely rue the day.
Marry when June roses blow,
Over Land and sea you’ll go.
those who in July do wed
Labor always for their bread.
Whoever wed in August be
Many a change is sure to see.
Marry in September’s shrine
Your living will be rich and fine.
If in October you do marry,
Love will come but riches tarry.
If in October you do marry,
Love will come but riches tarry.
If you wed in bleak November
Only joy will come, remember.
When December’s snow fall fast,
Marry and true love will last.

Give thyme wedding favors for a “growing memory” of your wedding day. Brides and Grooms love the smell of thyme and it is a popular centerpiece for wedding reception tables. These herb seed kits are adorable and look beautiful on wedding reception tables all year round.
Like most herbs, thyme can successfully and relatively easy be grown indoors, it needs only a bright windowsill and some basic attention to thrive.
Thymus vulgaris: Hardy evergreen perennial; cosmetic, culinary, medicinal, ornamental
Thyme is appreciated as a versatile culinary seasoning, easy to grow from seed; thyme thrives and is most flavorful when given lots of sun. Thyme has long been a symbol of bravery, and valued for its antiseptic qualities. Its leaves are rich in oils and create a powerful antiseptic, beneficial in healing lotions and salves.Thyme pretty much grows itself. In fact, the more you fuss with it, the less hardy it will be. Thyme is most fragrant and flavorful when grown in dry, lean soil. Too much moisture will rot the plants.
Perfect Fall Wedding Favors, thyme is a seasonal favorite, brilliant choice.
Just in thyme! October 5, 2012

If you are in the midst of planning your wedding, you may be overwhelmed by the sheer number of things you need to do. From ordering the flowers to choosing the perfect caterer, there is certainly no shortage of tasks leading up to the big day.
Wedding etiquette plays a big role in every part of the wedding planning process, starting with the invitations themselves. You need to get those invitations out on time, but you cannot afford to ignore the etiquette associated with those invitations either
When you prepare those invitations it is important to observe a few points of modern bridal etiquette. Wedding etiquette has changed a great deal throughout the years, and that is certainly true of the invitations you send to your guests
For instance, it is increasingly common and perfectly acceptable to name both sets of parents when sending out the invitations. Under the old rules it was traditional to list only the names of the bride’s parents, but this rule is no longer in force. Naming both sets of parents on the invitations is now quite acceptable, and the perfect way to honor those beloved family members.
